PULIYOGARE RECIPE

PULIYOGARE INGRIDIENTS:

  • 0.5 Cup oil
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 2 dried red chilli
  • pinch hing / asafoetida
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 100 grams jaggery
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp Sharabeshwara foods puliyogare masala powder

 

For rice:

  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tsp chana dal
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 4 tbsp peanuts
  • 2 dried red chilli
  • Few curry leaves
  • 4 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tsp salt

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Firstly grate 4 tbsp coconut and keep aside.
  • In kadai, heat 2 tbsp oil and splutter ½ tsp mustard, 1 tsp chana dal, ½ tsp urad dal and 2 tbsp peanuts.
  • Now add 1 dried red chilli and few curry leaves. saute for a minute.
  • Further, add 4 tbsp Sharabeshwara foods puliyogare masala powder and saute for a minute.
  • Add in 2 cup cooked rice, ½ tsp salt and mix well.
  • Mix unitl the rice is well combined with gojju (puliogare mix).
  • Use your hands to combine for best results.
  • Further, add 2 tbsp grated coconut and mix well.
  • Finally, enjoy hot puliyogare with curd and papad.
