PULIYOGARE USING OUR PULIYOGARE READY MIX

Puliyogare is one of the traditional South Indian dish that is prepared during festivals as prasadm. If rice is cooked, preparation takes a jiffy. This tangy and spicy dish it’s an all-time favourite.

PULIYOGARE INGREDIENTS:

  • Dal – 2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 ½ tsp
  • Peanuts- 2 tbsp
  • Cashewnuts – 10 nos
  • Sona Masuri Rice ( cooked)- 600 gms
  • Curry leaves- 5-6
  • Salt- 1 tsp
  • Sharabeshwara foods Puliogare Mix- half tbsp

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat 2 1/2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a kadai
  • Once the oil is hot, add Dhal, Peanuts, Cashew Nuts (these are optional) and few curry leaves. Allow them to splutter.
  • Add half a tablespoon of Sharabeshwara foods Puliogare Mix.
  • Stir for 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
  • Add Cashew Nuts.
  • Add Curry Leaves and fried Peanuts.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Add 600g of Cooked rice and mix thoroughly. Use hands to mix evenly.

 

Keep aside for 30 mins and serve with papad or buttermilk/curd. Tastes best when served hot too.
